Behind every incredible performance is an incredible team of volunteers.

Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, alum, or passionate community member, we invite you to be part of the magic that makes the Madison Central High School Band program thrive!

The Marching Band experience is so much more than music—it’s meals, travel, uniforms, props, fundraising, hydration, and heartfelt encouragement. It truly takes a village to support our nearly 200-member band, and we can’t do it without YOU.

Whether you can give one hour or one season, your time makes a difference.

Where Can You Help?

There’s a volunteer role for everyone—no matter your schedule, skills, or experience. Check out our committees below to find the right fit for you. Whether you’re organizing meals, sewing uniforms, lifting props, or capturing memories, you’re helping create something unforgettable for our students.

  • Food & Hospitality – Feed the band, donate items, or help plan meals
  • Chaperones – Ride buses and supervise students at events
  • Props & Pit Crew – Build, move, and set props and pit equipment for performances
  • Uniforms – Help with fittings, repairs, and keeping uniforms performance-ready
  • Fundraising – Plan or support events that help fund our program
  • Technology & Media – Help with photos, social media, or website updates

💡 Have a special skill or profession that could help the band? Whether it’s graphic design, carpentry, drone piloting, or something else—reach out! We’d love to hear from you.
